CPR and First Aid Classes for Caregivers*
All currently active caregivers must provide the agency with their current certification in Infant and Child CPR, and First Aid.
You may take these classes
anywhere you
choose as long as you can provide us with documentation of your
certification.
Hospitals, Community Centers and private companies offer courses in Infant and Child CPR and First Aid.
The course must be certified by The American Red Cross or The American Heart Association. No other certification will be accepted.

New Mother/New Baby Care Class*
This class plus recent infant experience and current certification in Infant and Child CPR and First Aid are required to be able to be referred on New Mother New Baby assignments. This course must be renewed every two years.
Class is given by Julie Duncan, lactation specialist and childbirth educator at Piedmont Hospital. Call for Directions after your register online.
Cost is $25 paid ahead by check or credit card. Payment must be received at least 5 days before the date of the class.
