What is Corporate Backup Care?
A
Friend of the Family is contracted to a Corporate Backup Care
Organization to provide Back Up Child and Adult care to their Clients.
The care is in the home of the client employee.
The Back Up care program is an employee benefit that certain companies
are
willing to help pay for so their employees can come to work when the
regular care falls through, like a school holiday, ill child, primary
caregiver (mother, nanny) is not available.
The Corporate Backup Care
Organization handles all details, record keeping
and all jobs must go through the Corporate
Backup Care Organization.
The Corporate Backup Care
Organization creates all the rules and
regulations that A Friend of
the Family and you must follow.
A rule and regulation guide will be given to you.
All employees must have
current CPR and First Aid Certification.
Backup Care can be at the last minute or
planned several days in advance. Jobs can also be for several days at a
time.
Caregivers may
work a maximum of 40 hours a week.
Caregivers can not be
guaranteed a set number of hours.
A Friend of the Family would be employing you as a caregiver to provide
child/adult care. Pay rate is $10.00 per hour
Our employed Caregivers must be available 2 to 5 full days a
week from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
